A Nordic Walking Park – the first on the eastern shore of Lake Garda – opens in Brenzone.
Nordic walking has become increasingly popular in recent years. It differs from trekking in that you use walking poles to facilitate walking. The “Nordic Walking Brenzone” sports club of Brenzone domiciled in Castelletto di Brenzone has awakened the interest of the department of arts and culture and the office of monuments. They have then created a Nordic Walking Park together with the “Pro loco” assocation that seeks to promote special places and Brenzone’s hoteliers association. The park’s four circular routes, marked by different colours, cover all boroughs of Brenzone. The Italian Nordic Walking school has certified and recognized the park, which is the first on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. The routes are about 20 kilometres long and include trails, mule tracks and foothpaths leading to points of historic and artistic interest.
