From 24 June to 26 August 2016, visitors can hear the sound of music during the 94th opera festival at the Verona Arena.
The 94th opera festival at the Verona Arena opens on 24 June and features five famous operas until 24 June. Bizet’s “Carmen”, Puccini’s “Turandot” and Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” are put on stage by director Franco Zeffirelli. The two other operas on the programme, “La Traviata” and “Aida” by Verdi, also boast a magnificent set. Roberto Bolle will perform a show exclusively planned for this stage on 18 July. International stars will take the stage with the best performers from international companies. Prices for the 2016 opera festival start from 25 euros and vary according to the seats chosen. Reduced tickets are available for people under 30 and over 65 and people with disabilities, as well as schools, universities and dancing schools. Tickets can be purchased at the official selling points, Unicredit branch banks and online on the Geticket website.
