A recipe with winter flavours to warm up during this cold season!
The recipe is a perfect match between two products of the Lake Garda region, polenta and North Italian sausages.
- 500 g* polenta
- 300 g North Italian sausages
- 500 g sieved tomatoes
- 100 ml whole milk
- 1 onion
- extra virgin olive oil , butter , salt
Sauté the chopped onion in a saucepan with olive oil until golden brown. Then add the sausages (split in two to 4 pieces) and sauté for a few minutes at high heat.
Reduce the flame and add the sieved tomatoes, salt lightly, cover with a lid and leave it to cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the polenta with milk, water, salt and butter. Then arrange it on a platter and garnish with the sausages.
Add grated parmesan to taste.
