Description
The cable car leading to Monte Baldo is divided into two sections: the first, from Malcesine to San Michele is 1512 metres long and the difference in altitude is 463 metres, the second, from San Michele to Monte Baldo is 2813 metres long and the difference in altitude is 1187 metres.
The revolving cabin is a novelty of the cable car and makes it unique in the world. It also offers a 360° view to passengers and gives them a sense of flying.
The remarkable total difference in height (1650 metres) is bridged by a passage of 4325 metres in only 10 minutes. The capacity of the cable car is 600 passengers per hour with cabins from 45 to 80 spots and a maximum of safety, as the structure works under adverse weather conditions and by night time.
