When in Manerba del Garda, a visit to the beautiful Archaeological Nature Park (Parco Archeologico e Naturalistico) at the Rocca is a a must!

The rock formation on the south-wetern shore of Lake Garda has attracted visitors from prehistoric times to the 16th century. The different geomorphological conditions have also favoured the spread of numerous Mediterranean plant species and botanic rarities (among them splendid wild orchids), that make the huge park (about 90 hectares) a marvellous natural oasis - with a splendid view on the lake and the Valtenesi area.
