From January 31 to February 3 2018, Verona will host Fieragricola, the international trade fair for the agricultural sector.
The event took place in 1898 for the first time. For 120 years, the event has been faithful to its roots, while continuing to evolve and expand its offerings: agricultural machinery, vineyards, fruit and livestock farming to renewable energy, green management, agrochemicals and fertilizers.
This year’s edition develops international relations. For this purpose, 32 countries worldwide were selected, on which the activities of Incoming should concentrate. The selected countries are Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Spain, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Balkan countries, Romania, Moldova, Ethiopia, Ghana, South Africa, Mozambique, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Iran, Israel, Turkmenistan , Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
The new Fieragricola format includes an international focus, but also the two concurrent events of the Eurocarne (Meat Processing Trade Show) and Fruit & Veg Innovation (Fruit & Vegetable Trade Fair). Another interesting novelty is the olive growing area, which also offers specific workshops and conferences.
