The exhibition on Raphael’s early work, “Raffaello. Opera Prima” will be held at the Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia from 30 January to 6 April 2015.
The RENAISSANCE exhibition cycle continues with an event dedicated to Raphael. The “Raphael. Early Work” exhibition focuses on what is considered to be the first work of the master, the so-called “Pala Baronci”. All parts of the masterpiece are assembled in Brescia for the occasion. The items on loan are provided by the Louvre in Paris and the Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte in Naples (fragments of the altarpiece), as well as the Palais des Beaux Arts in Lille (sketch of the painting).
